Ontario RAT™ Knives

You can rest assured the OKC RTAK-II knife will stand the test of durability. The RTAK-II features a 5160 steel construction full tang blade with lanyard hole in the butt. The blade is has a foliage green texture powder coated finish. The handles on the RTAK-II are made from canvas Micarta. This knife comes standard with MOLLE compatible black nylon sheath.

Micarta® Handle

The Tan handle on the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is made from MICARTA®. MICARTA® a Westinghouse trademark is a man made material. MICARTA® is made by layering resin and cloth and is used to make very fine knife handles

5160 Steel Blade

The Fixed Blade on the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is made from 5160 Steel and features a Flat grind. 5160 Steel holds an edge well, and is extremely tough, popular in hard use knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 54-56, this Drop Point shaped blade is 10.5 inches long and is stamped with RTAK-II / OKC-USA.

Field sharpening the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is easy with its sharpened edge.

Black Nylon Sheath

Included with the RTAK-II by Ontario Knife Company is a Black Nylon sheath. This sheath fits the above knife holing it securely in place with two snap straps. The sheath is MOLLE Compatible, or can slide onto a belt.
