Selling a bolt action Savage 340 rifle in 30-30 - $450
Reason for selling: I bought two of these for my kids to start deer hunting. The 30-30 is a great cartridge for recoil sensitive shooters, especially for new hunters. Now that they both have taken deer they are moving on to other calibres and I don’t need two of these.
It has the expected marks of handling and field use (marks in stock, bluing loss). Drilled and tapped for the Weaver mount, comes with the 4-power Bushnell scope. Magazine holds three rounds. I like the Savage 340 because the detachable magazine allows the use of pointed bullets (which is rare as most 30-30s have tubular magazines).
I prefer to sell this locally. I am willing to meet up between Hamilton-Kitchener-Woodstock-Simcoe. PAL obviously required.
