Not many of these rifles around. A Winchester Model 70 Carbine Short Action in .308 Winchester. These rifles came with a 20" light sporter barrel and lightweight stock. The short action version is more rare than even the standard length version. These make a great hunting rifle, very lightweight and ultra-reliable.
This rifle has been hunted with and it shows. Some of the finish on the stock is peeling and the metal has some light scratching and bluing loss. Mechanically it's flawless. Bore is bright and shiny, the action is smooth and the trigger is crisp. The barrel has a Mag-na-port style brake as well.
