A gentleman’s rifle, take-down Marlin 97 case coloured 24 inch 22 SL & LR JM stamped in very good condition. Manufactured in 1930’s, SN starts with “A”.
Fading of the case colour receiver. Overall in very good shape and mechanically in excellent shape. Wood has its weathered look but has no cracks and is in solid condition. Bore is in amazing shape for its age. Initials were placed in forend by some previous owner. Some bluing loss on barrel, but I’d estimate it at 85-90%.
