Savage 340D in .222 Rem

This is a nice rifle.  Comes with correct  Weaver side mount and special rings (1”), (vintage Weaver K3-C3 scope is $150 extra). The rifle bore is mint and based on the very small amount of witness marking on bolt black rifle was fired maybe 200 times. The rifle action, barrel, and bolt are excellent original finish. Trigger guard was reblued due to a rust spot, is bright and nice now. The stock wood was oiled, rubbed, was never sanded, and looks new now. Has a Brand new magazine (cost over $100), comes with original factory sling. If someone wants the quite beautiful Weaver only, it is $170, comes with standard Weaver rings (not the rings on the rifle). The rifle comes with the special scope mount for Savage 340 and accepts 1” scopes. I think if I was to keep this rifle I'd have the chamber modified for .223 to shoot the inexpensive ammo, but .222 is easy to get and reload for.
