hello everyone, I am looking to sell my 1876 2nd Model Winchester chambered in 45-60 the guns Serial number puts it around 1880
It is a very nice honest example of a working gun, its nice and clean for a brown gun, receiver retains some bluing. wood fit is still perfect not worn or sanded, holds half and full cock without issue. Still racks ejects and extracts as it should, has its dust cover. correct ladder style rear sight for a 1876, barrel address still nice and clear, showing the kings improvement patent address. 28" inch barrel.
still a very shootable gun if you happen to have or reload for 45-60. all around a very nice Winchester and its been a pleasure to own it. in great shape for 143 years old has a very low (12XXX) serial for a gun of which only 63,871 were made.
Im looking for around $3600 but never afraid to consider offers. Thanks very much hopefully the pictures do the old girl justice
I have many more pictures of the gun please feel free to ask for them!!
