De-sporterized, many parts are DP-stamped (but not the receiver nor the bolt). Non-matching serial numbers obviously. Quite neat: 1912-dated Enfield no1Mk3 (no star) receiver. Two plugged holes on the side of the receiver, doesn't affect the gun in any way other than cosmetics (likely an aborted attempt to mount a scope at some point in this receiver's tumultuous past).
More technical details: forend is free of splits or cracks (small chip just in front of the safety lever). Forend bedding on the action was properly taken care of. Rear handguard is ever so slightly wiggly (its retaining clip may be a bit tired). Headspace is good. Two-stage trigger pull is as it should. Feeds, shoots, extracts and ejects correctly. Bore is nice! Bit of frosting or dirt in a few spots but very good overall. I've test-fired it at 50 yards and got a 2-inch three-shot group with less-than-ideal UMC ammo. Buttstock and handguards show wear and are far from cosmetically perfect but hey, again, solid, no cracks or major defects.
