The Crusader Arms Backland Hunter Rifle is a modern twist of a modern hunting ranch style semi-automatic rifle. The lineage of this rifle comes directly from the existing non-restricted shotguns on the market like the Benelli M4 and operates with the same style Bolt Carrier and strut that retreats into a Benelli spring loaded buffer tube to absorb and reset the bolt carrier’s position. The Benelli M4 style operating system was then chambered in .223 wyld (also accepting 5.56 rounds). It is designed for versatility and reliability, with a manual safety and a full-length top rail for optics, making it suitable for hunting and sport shooting.
