A great historical rifle, the M1917 that was sporterized professionally by a BSA in the 50s.
The thing shoots great but spends too much time in the safe, just trying to make some room.
Bolt is marked W (Winchester) but since the barrel has been refinished by BSA its production location is unknown.
Rear sight base is redfield but does not have rear sights installed, drilled and tapped for scope. Stock is the sporterized original military version, not a BSA clone. No cracking in stock but plenty of scuffs!
Only rust spot is on the trigger guard, as seen in photo.
Weaver scope/rings not included but can be for a buyer interested in adding on.
Happy to provide additional pics and information on request.
Trades considered!
PAL will be checked and transfer number issued by RCMP before any sale.
