Original rifle and scope with reproduction bases properly mounted. Fully functional and probably very accurate. Rifling is very good and shows little wear, but is lightly pitted "frosted" throughout from corrosive ammo use in the past. Stock has never been sanded IMO. Bases are screwed and soldered and jig-drilled and tapped. The scope I have reason to believe was used in WWI by this man: https://www.brandonsun.com/local/2016/01/16/the-war-from-here-soldier-survives-grizzly-bear-attack-in-yukon
Anyone who has read Frank Iriam's book "In The Trenches 1914-1918" will know how effective this combination was in WWI.
