WWII GERMAN 50mm LIGHT MORTAR SHELL This shell is known as the 5cm Granatwerfer 36. It was adopted for service in 1936 which it gets its namesake from and a total of 22,112,000 rounds of this shell were produced between 1939 and 1943. This mortar was 2lbs. And had a muzzle velocity of 246ft/sec. And a max effective firing range of 510meters (about 1673.23 ft). Germany stopped using them shortly before the war ended as they did not have enough explosive power and didn’t have enough useful range. These mortar rounds are 3d printed and made to exacting standards they are hand painted and weathered to look just like the real thing they are full size reproductions. Perfect for cosplay the man cave or any military enthusiast would be proud to have these in their collection. Price is firm, and well worth it for this unattainable German WWII mortar shell. The brass shells are 5.56mm and 7.62mm and are in the photo for size reference only.
