- Blades Bayonets
One of the least common variants of Kalashnikov bayonet, these were made for a very short amount of time and came in with some early imports of type 56 rifles to the US.
excellent shape! Open to offers!
There is some evidence to show these were also sold as “sterilized” aid by china to factions that required plausible deniability but this has limited evidence as these are so uncommon on a global scale.
Knife bayonet for use with the semi-automatic 7.62 mm. AKM assault rifles commercially exported in the 1980s by Polytech and NORINCO (China North Industries Corporation).
This example has a black plastic grip and scabbard body. This example also has the chromed steel belt hanger provided on the earliest U.S. imports.
Basically a very nice Chinese manufactured AK-47 bayonet. This bayonet is designed in the typical AKM pattern and would work with either the Chinese Type 56 which is a copy of the AKM (7.62x39mm) or an AK-74 (5.45x39mm) pattern rifle. This bayonet is essentially a copy of the Russian 6x4 AKM Type II style bayonet that was produced by both Izhevsk and Tula; however the wire cutter and saw back features were removed from the design. This gives the bayonet a cleaner and sleeker appearance. This bayonet bears no arsenal mark. It was imported with either a Norinco or Poly-Tech rifle. The bayonet is constructed of black plastic not the rare dark green variant. Like most of these Chinese bayonets, it does not include a hanger. This bayonet is in very good condition. It is not serial numbered.
