1895 Austria/Hungarian M95 Bayonet..These were used on the Styre M1895 Mannlicher Straight Pull Rifle.. 8×50r..the primary rifle used in WW2 by the Austrian Empire..made in Budapest, Hungary..Femara Fegyver Gepgyar..FGGY on ricasso..Hungarian Crest on the reverse side..M95 was the first bayonet to fasten "cutting edge facing upwards when fixed."..biggest difference between Hungary and Austria made bayonet is the blood groove..is square on the Hungary, and round on the Austria made one..the scabbard is also made in Budapest.
Frequently used bayonet of WW1..Austria, Hungary, CSR, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia & Romania prior to 1945.
