Schrade USA Model 498S---(49er's series) Hunting Knife

The model #498S was one of Schrade's "49ers" series of knives - manufactured in the USA from 1973 - 1979 and again in 1983.
High carbon Satin finished clip point blade with false top edge and notched thumbrest.
Hidden tang construction. Handle has a texured brass guard and pommel, faux stag grip with red/white/black spacers. 
Blade 5",  OAL 9 1/2". Comes with original leather sheath.
Nice used condition. Blade has sharpening scratches, minor pits and patina. Edge is clean and sharp. Spine has minor "dings" along top edge. See last 2 pics. Will ship at buyer expense -- $20 tracked Canada Post.
