Hopkins & Allen shotgun action

I'm not really sure what this is from, Potentially from an old Hopkins & Allen shotgun action .  I picked it up in an auction lot and don't have a use for it.  It seems to be in working order not seized or anything.  There is some pitting present as well as a serial number.   Pictures are meant to be part of the description.   Sold "as is".Shipping is on the buyer.  Asking $35.
