Selling this beautiful dark Colt Navy Model of 1892 double action revolver, chambered in .41 Long Colt. Colt factory records place this example's manufacture in 1892 - a genuine pre-1898 antique, no PAL or registration required for anyone 18+. Mechanics:
Completely functional with great tolerances. Barrel measures 5". All mechanisms are fully functional, with smooth operation throughout - action, ejector, and the flip-out cylinder all work as intended, with nothing binding or hesitating anywhere in the cycle. Bore shows fair rifling with consistent corrosion throughout its length - a bore that's seen black powder use and shows it, though the action running this smoothly after over a century speaks to how well the gun was otherwise cared for.
Visuals:
This revolver has been professionally refinished with a beautiful high-polish dark blue treatment across the frame, paired with a vibrant electric blue on the trigger and screw heads for a striking contrast finish. All markings remain clearly legible: the rampant Colt emblem on the left side of the frame, the barrel address and patent dates on the right side of the barrel, and "COLT D.A. 41" stamped on the left side of the barrel. Factory assembly number 152 matches throughout including cylinder latch, cylinder face, and cylinder crane. Grips are replacement deep-grained checkered walnut with a silver rampant Colt medallion.
