Remington 1871 army rolling block pistol and 50 caliber with mirror polished finish

 is an 1871 army issue 50 caliber rolling block pistol, custom polished by hand and the wood parts have been sanded and re-glazed.looks like it just came out of the factory with  a mirror finish on all the parts. The usual markings in that process of being polished away.

The  bore is shiny bright with strong rifling, except the last 3 cm has some wear.50/70 brass cut down to size fits perfectly with 50 caliber lead and some   black powder and you have yourself a 50 caliber cannon. Mechanics are good except the trigger return spring is a little bit weak, and I always help it forward after shooting so that the  half cock safety engages properly and the trigger resets.
