Lefaucheux Style .450cf antique status revolver.
originally produced in 1858 as a pinfire revolver. The design was very easily adapted to centerfire technology sometime in the 1860’s
Function is excellent in both single and double action. Bore is clean and strong rifling. Half cock holds strong.
Aesthetically the finish is a solid dark grey, with silver and gold inlay (yes actual silver and gold) there are a few spots where the inlay is missing. There are a couple chips in the handle but it holds solid.
brass can be easily made by trimming 45colt brass to length and using standard.452 soft lead projectiles.
Antique status means there is no rcmp transfer or registration required. This pistol can be carried and fired anywhere it is legal to use a non-restricted firearm.
