Yes it indexs and times well, often needs help with finger nail disengaging the cyl stop from the part that protrudes as you start the cocking procese as it locks nice and strong, better than being loose. 

Holds strong in half and full. 

Yes it comes apart. 

Comes with RCMP papers. All antique anyway in this model & most from this manufacturer. 

Mechanically very good overall. 

Cosmetically very good. 

Good rifling. 

Some shit on the one side would polish or scratch off mostly with polish on a tiny brass or steel mini brush . Not a candidate for re-nickel as most is still intact. 

Forehand & Wadsworth and HR were of equal quality to colt and Remington Rimfires. Way better than bacon arms, hopkins and Allen & Iver Johnson on average. 

Yes it fires. Took two strikes back then. Spring was adjusted and tempered should work in 1 now. Can't guarantee it. 

Nice grips on it.
