The French Model 1892 Lebel revolvers were a very sophisticated upgrade to the the MAS 1873/74 models that had been in service for the decades prior. Chambered for 8mm French Ordnance, which can be purchased from www.rustywood.ca, these single and double action sidearms were a true feat of engineering, with a swing out cylinder and a mechanism that disconnects the hammer when the loading port is open to prevent misfires while loading. As an antique, no PAL or registration is required to own this amazing revolver.

All mechanics are absolutely immaculate and rock solid. The ejector, action, cylinder, and all associated mechanisms a work as intended. When you pull the trigger with the loading gate open, the cylinder will rotate without the hammer moving for quick loading/checking your rounds. The internals are amazing and clean with absolutely no spoiling.

Visually a stunner. Nice contrast between blued and steel toned parts, and the surface is very clean with all marks showing strong. Serialized F21874, manufactured in 1893. The original wood grips are beautiful. Knurling all strong. The rifling is still present but evidently this piece has sent some rounds downrange.

Comes with a rare intact original leather service holster, owned by "Marty" in ages since forgotten. Who knows what this revolver and holster have seen in over a century on this planet.

No PAL, 18+
