French 1822 Percussion Pistol, Fully Functional, 69 Cal

Very robust, big .69 caliber French Model 1822 percussion pistol. Barrel is just under 8 inches. Manufactured by Chatellerault Arsenal in French mid 1800's. The action on this piece functions excellent with very strong half and full cock. The percussion nipple is in great shape. Rifled bore rates good for a vintage pistol. The wood stock shows expected dings, there's a stable crack near tang area. Original ramrod is included which is nice as many were lost over the years. This would have been an intimidating pistol to be on the receiving end of, and once your shot was fired would have double as a hefty battle hammer! Very budget friendly, historical antique pistol!
