R & R Sutherland Chiefs Grade Trade Gun

Picked this up at a gun store a while back where one of the family members of the owners was a museum curator. They were selling off a bunch of the guns he had collected as he had passed away.

Don't know much about this, believe it could have been made during the War of 1812 as a diplomatic gift to secure Natives support for Britain.

Holds half, doesn't go into full cock. I believe if someone was interested they could get it firing again. Missing a bunch of the wood close to the muzzle. Has been converted to percussion at some point most likely in the 1840s or 50s.
