A pair of German flintlock pistols circa 1730. Built and marked to A. Fromerly in Berlin. This pair of holster pistols shows an overall length of 19 1/2 inches. The step-down barrels are 52 caliber and show a length of 12 3/4 inches. These pistols are all iron mounted. Both locks show the makers name and address. Both show all the original lock parts and are mechanically sound and function correctly. Both guns show spots of corrosion and light pitting which is not unusual for items of this age. These pistols are in European walnut. A very good pair of working pistols from the early 18th century.
