I have had this rifle for more than 40 years, it has harvested many deer and it is also excellent for moose. My wife refuses to eat deer meat anymore and the damn things are beginning to be like pets eating bird seeds below my feeder and the yew hedge. It is a 1940;s Swedish assault rifle that has been modified for a scope. The front sight is removed, the condition is good and the magazine has been pinned to comply with Canadian law. This rifle is a tack driller but very loud, long but not too heavy. This scope configuration is the only one I have ever seen on a M42b, so it is unique and you do not have to rely on iron sights. If war came to Canada, I would choose this rifle every time. I think I have three boxes of bullets for this rifle that would be available to the buyer at a bargain price. I would prefer to sell it in Cape Breton if possible.
