Up for sale is a very nice Remington M1917. The rifle appears to have the original blued finish from what I can tell, which is still very nice. No signs of rust or pitting.
Bolt is not numbered, and is made by Remington.
The stock is Remington marked and retains some of the red paint on the front of the stock and handguard. Typical of Canadian military use.
The barrel is very nice and I would rate it as very good for these rifles. The bore is shiny all the way down and rifling is strong and crisp. This one has lots of shooting life left in it.
