Savage 11, Heavy Barrel, .223 Project

Not looking for trades right now as I have some pending trades for my other listing.

This started out as a Savage 11 "Trophy Hunter Predator XP" which I don't think is in production anymore, I've had it for probably close to ten years. It's a heavy barreled varminter in .223. It originally had a plastic stock with plastic "bottom metal" which broke and I planned on replacing it with a nice walnut stock and actual bottom metal. Tang safety model. The scope is some kind of Weaver 3-9x40 with sort of a basic target reticle. I don't know the model, it's whatever came on the Trophy Hunter Predator XP ten or so years ago.

The stock for it is from Richard's Microfit, and is "semi-fancy" Claro walnut. I forget the style but it has a raised cheekpiece, small recoil pad and beavertail forend. I did try to buy another stock from them for a different project and they do not ship to Canada anymore. I should stress that the stock is semi-inletted and needs some final fitting before sanding and finishing. For whatever reason, the stock shipped to me with a staple sticking out of the recoil pad.

Since first posting, I found the correct numbers matching bolt for the gun and the action screws. It will either need bottom metal off a specific 4.4" short action bottom bolt release rifle (M11 Lady Hunter or M10 Hog Hunter comes to mind) or I will sell the barreled action separate if you have your own stock and bottom metal or want to just drop this into an MDT chassis. This action would be perfect for that.

Asking $475 for the barreled action, scope and walnut stock. I also have a good amount of .223 (some plain imported stuff but also Hornady hollowpoint target loads) that can be worked into a local sale or sold separate. I've probably shot less than fifty rounds through the rifle.
