Classic Savage 99EG chambered in .300 Savage. Manufactured in 1954.
Great Shooter quality rifle for someone who appreciates a classic Savage.
Receiver has original blueing with a few light scratches and never drilled or tapped. This is getting harder to find. Brass rotary shell counter.
Barrel has a great bore, shiny and good rifling. Unfortunately it has been re-blued.
Stock has the original finish with the classic Schnabel forend. No cracks in the tang or forend. Shows minor field dings and character marks consistent with its age. Original steel buttplate.
