1975 Savage Model 2400 Combination 12g shotgun over .308 Rifle

Relatively uncommon, early-production Savage Model 2400. Manufactured by Valmet in Finland in 1975. Imported by Savage arms into North America.

This Combination gun is 12gauge 2 3/4” over a .308 Rifled barrel.
Complete matching Serial Numbers “78309V”

Front trigger for 12 Guage and back trigger for .308

Perfect combo to have in the bush for grouse/deer, or bear protection/deer hunting.

There are some period correct quick disconnect scoped for this to, but even with iron sites it shoots beautifully at 1-200 yards. 

I have had this gun for a couple years now and only shot it a couple times out in the bush, cleaned and oiled after each use.

Beautiful gun to handle, awesome aftermarket strap I put on it that holds rounds and has a nice hand placement stop while over the shoulder carrying.

This gun has a couple small dings in the stock and some very light surface rust on the sides of the barrel that should clean up nice, I never got around to trying to do anything with it I wanted to leave it up to the discretion of whoever gets it.
