Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk 1, 1944 Dated, .303 British
1944-dated Lee-Enfield No.4 Mk1 in .303 British. Bolt action, 10-round detachable mag (one mag included). Receiver wear has obscured the serial — I can't read it clearly enough to call out the manufacturer (Long Branch / Maltby / Fazakerley / Savage), and barrel measures shorter than the standard 25.2", so this has likely been worked over at some point.
Selling it honestly as a sporter/shooter, not a matching collector piece.
What you're getting: a piece of WWII Commonwealth history that still goes bang. The .303 is the round that armed Canadian troops from Vimy to Holland. Surplus ammo is around but getting pricier — load your own and these things shoot all day.
Bore is shootable, action is smooth, headspace was fine last I checked but a smith can confirm. If you're a Lee-Enfield guy you know what you're looking at; if you're new to milsurp, this is a cheap entry into the platform.
This firearm shows honest wear, is priced accordingly, and has not been used in >40 years.
