Up for sale is a Brazilian Model 1908/34 Short Rifle manufactured by Československá Zbrojovka (CZ Brno) in the classic 7x57mm Mauser chambering.
This is a great piece of South American contract history featuring a sharp Brazilian crest on the receiver ring ("Estados Unidos do Brasil"), crisp CZ Brno side-rail markings (ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ ZBROJOVKA, A.S., BRNO), and clear stock serial/proof stamps.

Wood: Original stock with visible matching serial numbers, proofs, and cartouches. Solid condition with typical handling marks expected for a military surplus carbine/short rifle.
Metal/Finish: Crest and receiver markings are sharp. Bluing on the barrel, receiver, and bands shows honest wear and nice patina.
Bore Condition: Rifling is present throughout the entire length, though it does get rough/pitted toward the muzzle. The last 1/4 of the bore is degraded but the firdt 3/4 are clear and strong. I haven't personally shot this rifle, but the rifling pattern remains intact. Would not be concerned about shooting it but unsure of how accurate it would be with the rough bore towards the muzzle. Prefer to be upfront about it.
Hardware: Comes equipped with the front sight hood, bayonet lug, sling mounts, and cleaning rod.
