Kimber 84L hunter chambered in .270 win
Rifle weighs 5.5 lbs. which is very nice to carry in the back country. I’ve taken this rifle on a couple hunts and it was a joy to pack and shoot.
It has a match grade barrel with a 1:10 twist, it is pillar bedded from factory sitting right at a length of 22 inches.
The trigger in this rifle is match grade and is probably the best factory trigger I’ve ever felt. I actually like this trigger more than my triggertec in another rifle of mine. Brakes like glass every time and has a very nice curve to the trigger blade.
It’s fed from a box magazine holding 3 rounds.
The action is smooth and utilizes a full length Mauser claw extractor meaning the action is control round feed and very reliable. It has a 3 position wing safety just like a Winchester.
I had .5-.9 moa groups consistently with 3 shot groups with this rifle useing 140 gr sierra game kings. She shoots lights out. That said she is a mountain rifle so not many rounds were ever fired through this gun. I couldn’t give an accurate number but she’s basically new.
Over all I do love this rifle a lot, it was actually a dream gun to me when I got it and has been very well looked after. The stock has a couple very minor scuffs and the stainless has a slight shiny spot on the barrel from a safari sling but over all it’s mint. Only reason I’m parting ways with it is because I want to build a custom. And the sale of the rifle is going to help fund that build.
If you’re interested in a handy hunter driven rifle this would be an excellent choice. .270win is capable of taking all North American game. I personally took a moose and an elk with this rifle.
it’s light on the pack and always hits it mark when the shooter does his or her job. I hope it can find a good home.
The gun will come with talley light weight rings. As shown in photos.
These rifles are no longer available in Canada as per a distribution company that imported them stopped bringing them into Canada. So if your looking to get into a somewhat budget ultralight rifle used is currently the only way to get one.
Must have a valid P.a.l.
If your interested text is the best way to get ahold of me I will answer messages on here aswell but generally will not be as fast. Cheers and happy hunting !
