Ranger Rifle - Fazakerley Lee Enfield No4Mk1, in original configuration!

I have for sale an interesting rifle - this is a Ranger rifle (although I do not have the donation letter, it came directly from a gentleman in Nunavut), and shows it. It is a 1954-dated Fazakerley No4Mk1, bolt non-matching (although also Faz and from the same serial range), with a five groove bore and a number two bolt head (that headspaces appropriately) - firing pin protrusion is also correct, checked against armourers gauges. The bore has nice, deep, defined rifling, dark, but extremely shootable. The metal and wood are worn - notably, there is rust on the rear sight, magazine, bands, front sight hood, and barrel forward of the handguards, but the receiver, bottom metal, and bolt are very good. The wood has dings, wear, and tear from use,  as this rifle has been there and done that.

Clean it up, leave it as is, hang it on your wall - it's a gun that has seen genuine use. Good restoration project, as the receiver hasn't been drilled/tapped or the barrel shortened!
