Original Soviet Mosin-Nagant 91/30 bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62×54R, manufactured at the Izhevsk Arsenal in 1938. This rifle represents a desirable Soviet production example, retaining its classic full-length military configuration with hardwood stock, hooded front sight, tangent rear sight, and original-style cleaning rod.
The receiver markings remain clear and sharp, showing the Izhevsk arsenal crest and 1938 production date. Metal finish presents very well overall with an attractive original military appearance and strong remaining blue throughout.
The serial numbers remain matching on the visible major components, with the exception of the magazine floorplate, which is force-matched in typical Soviet arsenal refurbishment fashion.
The hardwood stock remains in solid condition with handling marks and service wear consistent with military use and long-term storage. The shellac finish shows attractive Soviet arsenal character with warm coloration and visible grain throughout the rifle.
The bore shows visible rifling with typical service wear consistent with age and military use. Bore photos are included for collector examination.
An attractive pre-war Izhevsk 91/30 example with excellent overall presentation and a very strong bore condition.
