Rare Banner Mauser standard modell 1924

Selling a standard model 1924 Mauser banner 98 rifle in 8mm Mauser.Very rare to see. 

This is the standard mauser commercial variant made before the famous K98, feature a straight bolt and finger grooves, flat buttplate.  This rifle was sold as an example and was getting contract including most South American country, also Persian and Chinese as a competitor to the FN Belgium. 

Note Type ZhongZheng (Chiang Kai Shek rifle) was a licensed 100% copy , the only stuff changed is the crest, made even the crest is very similar. Same story to Persian mausers.

Bore is fair and wood has normal marks as a gun seen battle and militia use, some wear marks but no cracks but there is a repair, was cut to use a k98style band spring but it was correctly repaired in original configuration.  

Not matching but mechanically good! Serial number is 9000 period but the bolt is same batch from 3000period so it’s a good fit. Metal features a normal wear patina. Still shoots, but this is model very rare to see in today’s market, especially in correct stock!

Not interested in trade other than antique firearms or other large ring mauser rifles.
