Excellent-condition 1943 Remington U.S. Model 1903A3 chambered in .30-06 Springfield, retaining its original WWII Remington configuration.
Both the receiver and barrel are Remington manufactured and date to the 1943 period. The bolt assembly retains numerous correct Remington “R” manufacturer markings, and the stock carries a clearly visible FJA wartime acceptance cartouche associated with Frank J. Atwood.
The rifle retains a very attractive olive/gray-green Parkerized military finish with normal age and handling wear. The full military stock remains solid and stable, with no obvious major cracks or structural damage observed.
The bore is exceptionally bright and clean with strong, well-defined rifling. Complete M1903A3 military configuration with receiver-mounted aperture rear sight, protected front sight, full stock and handguards, sling hardware, and steel buttplate.
A particularly well-preserved and highly consistent WWII Remington M1903A3 with excellent period and manufacturer consistency.
