Semin Mosin M91/30 troop trials rifle.

Looking to sell my Semin Mosin, made by izhevsk in 1943. All matching and in good condition.

These rifle's were an experiment to see how well a permanently attached bayonet would work on a Mosin. It seemed to be work well enough, but Russia had plans to stop producing the M91/30, so the bayonet was modified for the M38 carbine, and that ended up becoming the M44

Most of these rifle's are assumed to have been lost in combat, but a few years ago, a batch was found and surplused in Canada. My guess is they were never issued out or enough Semin rifles were collected after the war to be refurbished and stored. Whatever the story is, its a very unique rifle.
