The previous owner was using it for small game/varmint hunting, It is very accurate within 80 yard and reasonably accurate beyond 100 even 200 yards. I tested with all 22RF rounds in range and in fields--about 20 different brands and velocities. Best with CCI Stinger, CCI Standard Velocity (both 3 shot 1 hole at 25 yards with support but not on shooting rest); and very good with Winchester wild cat LRN 1255fps ($4.29/box at Tenda Canada)--only bit larger hole at 25 yards, and seldom some flyers--maybe it is me, not the rifle. I noticed this rifle tend to more like Round Nose or Hollow points which is tiny hollow on the tips, CCI MaxMag/Federal LRN also works OK but not as good as those mentioned above. Do some research yourself and see how accurate this model is in general-- it is not as accurate as modern target rifle but very good value for plinking, closer range target as well as hunting. Recently I got some other 22LRs so need to clear some spots in the safe--not really want to sell it though. Firm price and buyer pays shipping, can meet in west side of GTA: Woodbridge, west side of North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Milton or Burlington for transaction--or you are welcome to come to my place.

Bought with fair condition and I did a complete re-finish on it. Spend a total about 12 hours and now it looks shiny:

  • Fixed stiff bolt and not working safety--now bolt is smooth and safety fully functional, tested with live rounds.
  • Polished, sanded, stained and then added 5 coats of tru-gun oil on stock--took about whole week to complete this process
  • Completely cleaned all parts, removed all rust and old grease, added molly and pure synthetic oil to the parts
  • Completed removed blue on bore—was less than half left, first add 4 coats of cold blue, then add 3 coat of anti-rust paint on top of it
  • Added 3-7x20 Tasco Rim Fire scope--only available in the U.S. now and I spent a hard time for get a few at hand--the scope is $30+tax each by itself + shipping. Also come with a vintage waver 4x15 scope (worth about $40 and good for collection--I spend hours to completely dissembled and clean every piece of glass--it had A LOT glasses inside)--this scope comes with the rifle when I bought and it is still very good. However I found a problem as they using very thin cross hairs which does not working well under low-light condition. Tasco is way better
