Lee Enfield No2 MKIII Trainer .22 Caliber

Here is an Enfield .22 trainer with a lot of history. It starts its life as a Long Lee in 1897 and converted to No.2 trainer in early 1900. Lots of military markings on the receiver ring. Both wood and metal are in good condition. No rust or pitting that I see. No major damage on the wood except one end crack on the buttstock. Cartouche and stock disc still present. Rear sight was replaced with peep sight on the receiver. Magazine is correct with housing only. I haven’t shot it but action cycles well. Bore is shining and sharp like new.
