This gun has sporterized original wood - ding free, It is marked 1943 and the numbers on the barrel bolt and receiver match. That maker's information is missing on the RHS of the socket/ wrist and the serial no. f or the receiver is lightly marked on the LHS.
The barrel is 22" with a hooded front sight and the crown suggests that the work was professionally done. Still retains the classy no. 4 machined ladder sight with the micro adjust elevator.
The magazine is a factory original, but professionally shortened to 4-5.
The bore is excellent and it can shoot .0308 boolits well.
