Winchester model 1892 carbine 44-40

I have a 1909 Winchester 1892 model carbine for sale.  This carbine did not come with a saddle ring.  It is one a of a the ones Winchester made for Great Britain and the Commonwealth Countries in 1909 and 1910.  Note the upper tang does not have the model # stamped into it.  They put the patent info on instead.  The action is tight and functions well the bore is bright and shiny with good rifling.  The bluing is worn at the carrying points It has been used by the same family for 6 or more generations.   The not so good  there is a crack at the front of the forend, the magazine has been shortened to a 1/2 mag, the rear sight is a Marbles not the ladder unit there is a sling swivel hole in the rear stock and a couple of chips out of the wrist of the hand grip.  The model number is stamped on the rifle but I'll let the next owner have the joy of the Easter Egg hunt trying to find it.  It took me the better part of a month.
