Good shape..looks to be original ..might have had a new coat of varnish at some point. The smoothest action of levers..Very solid built rifle..shoots great..A hard to find..desirable caliber..that many swear by as the best brush deer and bear gun..but can knock down just about any game. Model 425 High Power..only 6000 ever made
