Antique Husqvarna 1870

No pal. Antique Status. No  transfer. 12.7/ 50 cal CF. Cocks and fires. Test fired. Shoots. 

Total length nearly 53". She's a beast. Heavy and long. 

$875 firm. These go $950-1150 with a firing pin and extractor. 

Shipping available on your dime. It's oversized expect a $60-85 ship charge. Over 37" is $29 fee. Only way to avoid it would be to cut it off at 19-20-21-22" and use a torch to get the silver solder sight off the cutoff and reattach it to the gun. 

** Needs a firing pin retension pin fitted. 

** Hammer block pivot screw is stuck and needs torched out or peened away to knock the block hammer pin out. Heat gun would work too but I don't own one. The slit is also fucked a bit from people using the wrong size screwdriver. 

** Has an extractor but it's peened or jammed and DOES NOT Function. Easy fix do the rotary mod on the block, basically adds a tab and then cut a 1/8 face at 6 o clock and it grabs as you rotate the block back and extracts. 

• Has a gap between hammer & block at rest. Needs a shim to correct it. I can do it and ask $100 more or you can do it yourself. It can be silver soldered, welded, threaded or pinned on. (0.0545" needs added). 

** Cheapos fix is to use an appropriate wooden dowel to drive out spent casings after firing 

Spin the rim off a 50-70 in a drill or drill press and use .510-5125 projectiles typically. Case length varies gun to gun a bit. ** You can use 50-70 lead and punch em through a sizer or buy a round ball. 

Barrel is 37" or so. Well rifled. Looks dirty but would clean up better. I was able to half assedly clean it and seen good improvement. 

I've got 3 of these, all 3 antique. No pal . 50-45 Springfield, 12.7 cf Husqvarna x2, own two of em. 

Buttstock is about 1/8" undersized in height and at the reciever face and 2/8" at the top tang corner. Could benefit from some sawdust or some wooden spacers for cosmetics. Or you can plug the tang screw hole in the buttstock, refit everything tighter & redrill the hole. Maybe 0.5-1mm further or something. 

Both stocks are a few shades different. Stain the front a mahogany or cherry or leave it as is.
