There were very few Sako Battues imported to North America around the early 1990's and this one is in the desirable shorter action 308 Winchester. It was several years old when I bought it in 1996 and it was used for hunting for a year or two.
In very nice condition with some minor handling marks on the stock, minor bluing wear on some edges, one marred screw head on the front sight and the bead on the blade of the front sight is broken off but doesn't prevent use of the sight. I did my best to show all these in the pictures. Barrel length 19.25" . Hinged floor plate. A beautiful rare Sako.
