Dated 1941, this .303 Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) rifle has been very nicely preserved.

The bore is bright and appears very good. The receiver, barrel, bolt, rear sight, magazine, stock, and nose cap are all stamped with matching numbers. Minor handling marks and dents are present on the stock and hand guards, but none have been sanded. The butt stock bears original stamps and a hand-painted rack number. The finish of the metal surfaces has worn to a black-grey patina. Some (but not all) of the screws slots are somewhat deformed. A correct 1941-dated sling is included in the sale.

All components required for this rifle to operate are present and 100% functional, including the safety, bolt assembly, ejector, trigger group, front & rear sights, magazine body, follower and spring. I have not disassembled or fired this rifle and suggest that a competent gunsmith should examine it before use.

My e-mail address and land-line number are available via the GunPost messaging system upon request. Texting is not available. Purchase will require PAL verification in accordance with current legislation.

A three day examination period is offered. Should the rifle fail to meet your expectations, the purchase price will be cheerfully refunded upon my receipt of the undamaged rifle. If I do not receive either a tracking number or the rifle within 72 hours of your receipt of same, I will consider the transaction complete.

Payment is either by EMT, or by cash during a face to face transaction at a mutually satisfactory  location in the vicinity of Winnipeg (after PAL verification). All shipping and insurance costs (one or both ways) remain the buyer's responsibility. I am not seeking any trades.

If the ad is up, the rifle is available.

Thanks for looking.
