Savage 303 Model 1899

Savage model 1899, .303 Savage. Made in 1901. Over all in good condition.

Internal magazine. Forearm has small pieces missing under the barrel on both sides - does affect the firing or handling.

Has 80-90% of the original blueing. Some light pitting on the left side of the barrel by the action. There are cracks on both sides of the butt stock on top behind the action but do not appear deep.

Action is smooth and locks up tight, safety works, strong rifling.

Pretty decent for 125 year old rifle.
