Howdy Gunpost. I have this nice old Spanish double for sale here.
The name for this shotgun in Spanish means hummingbird (colibri).
This is a Fábrica de Hijos de F. Arizaga gun made in Eibar in the 60's or 70's. It's 12 gauge 2 3/4 chambres gun. It has 28" barrels with the chokes being full on the left and modified on the right.
It's an excellent mechanical condition. Very tight gun. The automatic safety and extractors work perfect.
The metal is overall in good shape. Very good bluing on the barrel. The receiver still retains a lot of color case hardening which is quite nice to look at.
The wood is a Light-Colored wood I suspect is Beechwood. It has very nice traditional hand cut checkering. The finish has worn away quite a bit on this gun. I think it would definitely be worth stripping this gun and giving it a really nice refinish.
The shotgun is located in Calgary, Alberta for local pickup or sale. I'm also perfectly amenable to shipping it anywhere in Canada on the buyer's dime. I will disassemble the shotgun to save on shipping costs for the buyer.
