Up for  sale in time for bunny  and grouse season. A very solid and tight

Ex shooting Jansenn Sons & Co. Belgium made sxs. It has  2 3/4" chambers. External hammers. The barrels are 30" choked imp cyl and mod. Bores are ex considering age.

No dents no bulges.   Bores  are bright very minima  pitting ( frost ) in spots NO EFFECT ON USAGE . , barrels have ( false damascus  ) etched patterns  .They are fluid steel...made to resemble  damascus. 

Was confirmed with a test they're indeed false  or ( faux damascus  ) though rib says fine damascus..was told by a well versed Smith was a sales ploy back in day..as damascus  guns were more elegant....and more $..so theyd etch fluid guns to resemble  damascus.  There are no welds  visable ...Just a pattern...and charge average Joe a little  extra for it... ( like having fake leather instead of real  leather in a car ).....  

Metal on barrels is VG no rust or external pitts, bluing/blackening. Minor wear. The wood is solid. Absolutely  no cracks.  

Checkering is decent. Action is tight. Gun Shoots very well. It was missing the butplate. Ive located a replacement  and is included  with the sale. Was using a slip on to shoot it. As it came to me missing the pad. Prior owner  was going to fit  an olde  English pachmyr  pad and list the original.  However I've located a very  very close match. ( steel ) . 

Before  everyone  harps...im well versed in SxS. And.... this is well above average cond for a Belgium gun usually.... thats not loose and cracked to smithereens... asking 450$

Its a solid gun , if your hunting  with standard  loads . Ive fired atleast  200 rounds without  a hitch. 2 3/4" and 2.5" smokeless  loads.  1 1/8 Oz.

Zero issues. Patterns  very well.
