  • 1976 Antonio Zoli made for the European market. In the North American marked it would known as a Delfino.
  • Action Design: This firearm utilizes a double-Kersten style top cross-bolt locking mechanism. A solid steel block slides horizontally through heavy upper barrel extensions to secure the action. This high-rigidity architecture is identical to the platform Antonio Zoli used for high-pressure combination guns and express double rifles from this era.
  • Lineage Clarification: This is an authentic Antonio Zoli production carrying the official factory "Bow & Arrow" trademark stamp on the barrel flats and molded into the buttplate. It is distinct from the entirely separate, lower-tier mass production line of Angelo Zoli.
  • Chokes & Barrel Boring: Fixed choke configuration paired with tight 18.3mm European factory boring. Bores are fully chrome-lined for corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning.
  • Ejector System: Equipped with automatic selective ejectors. The mechanism clears fired empty hulls while lifting unfired shells for retrieval.
  • Trigger Setup: Traditional dual-trigger configuration. This acts as two completely independent firing mechanisms within the single frame and allows immediate barrel/choke selection via trigger choice.

Condition & Visual Assessment

  • Mechanical Condition: Excellent lockup; action closes tight with zero play or movement on the hinge pins.
  • Metal & Bluing: Deep, original factory bluing remains high-coverage and exceptionally clean across the barrels and frame assembly, showing none of the typical friction thinning or bare spots underneath the forend wood.
  • Wood & Engraving: Intricate traditional scroll engraving coverage on a satin-finished receiver. The walnut stock and forearm are in very good to excellent structural condition with tight wood-to-metal fitting. The stock is completely un-chopped, retaining its original factory-branded composite buttplate. The factory checkering remains sharp and well-defined. The wood exhibits a few minor, superficial surface handling marks and light compressions on the stock face consistent with age and careful handling. Please have a good look at he photos as they are part of the description. Additional photos available on request.
