Beautiful, old, well cared for, English 12 ga side by side, double barrel shotgun. Manufactured by P Webley & Son, Shaftsbury Avenue London England. This firearm was manufactured before the company changed its name to Webley & Scott in 1897.
serial number 49529. 2.75 inch chambers. fixed chokes. double triggers. internal hammers. automatic safety. Hawkins recoil pad.
all metal parts, including the barrels are beautifully engraved.
stock has a few minor scratches and dents but no cracks. forestock has a hairline crack on the upper edge, right side.
it has not been fired for many decades. there is no rust or pitting on any metal parts.
price includes a very old and worn leather take down carrying case and a vintage cleaning kit. the shotgun was not stored in the carrying case.
