No rust, the original bluing has remained on some parts and most of the barrel.
The steel is original and untouched. The stock has been redone, and refreshed, no cracks, no issues.
It’s a 120 years collector item not your bird hunting shotgun. Yes, it shoots well and I have done it. But I take no responsibility. I did my research and can confirm birdshots, low velocity (under 1100 fps) and under 1oz were perfectly fine and smooth.
